Back in the early spring I posted about paying for online content. I am back on the topic again as newspapers all over the country are discussing putting some content behind a paid wall on their respective sites.

Just curious what our readers think?
Do you read the paper online because it's free, convenient or both?
Would having to pay for content compell you to purchase a print product?

I read the NT online for the convenience and because I never did like getting ink all over my hands. My husband prefers inky hands so we get the print version delivered. The scene at our house is me online w/coffee and he w/paper nearby, also w/coffee.

I am opposed to fees for internet sites. We pay fees to internet providers just as we pay fees to cable TV providers. We are a captive audience for advertisers. News websites should develop better options for their advertisers, perhaps market their products at a reduced rate for those who make purchases online. I would not pay to view the NT online.
